Company context: your positioning, ideal customer and buyers in one file
Company context reads your website and asks you up to eight questions, then writes the one file every other agent uses: what you sell, the alternatives you replace, your ideal customer, the buying group, the moments that trigger a purchase and your proof.

What does Company context do?Company context reads your website and asks you up to eight questions, then writes the one file every other agent uses: what you sell, the alternatives you replace, your ideal customer, the buying group, the moments that trigger a purchase and your proof. Run it first; everything else gets sharper.
What you get
- A positioning statement built from real alternatives, not slogans
- Your ideal customer and who is not a fit
- The buying group: who signs, evaluates, uses and can block
- The situations that happen just before people buy, and how to spot them
- Proof you can use, and your voice
What it asks you
Only what your website, CRM and company context cannot answer.
- If you did not exist, what would your best customers use instead?
- What happened at your last three new customers in the month before they contacted you?
- Who looks like a customer but should not be one?
The method
Positioning from alternatives, value at every level
It follows April Dunford’s positioning order (start from what customers would use instead), adds Bain’s B2B elements of value so you capture value for the person as well as the company, and asks about past behaviour, not opinions (The Mom Test). The result is context specific enough that every other agent stops sounding generic.
The research behind it: The Mom Test, Category entry points, Positioning from alternatives (Obviously Awesome), B2B elements of valueReads these HubSpot fields
The skill names each field and its internal name, and checks them with HubSpot first. It proposes before it writes anything.
