Which sales and marketing tools have an MCP server?

Most sales and marketing tools now run an official MCP server, so Claude can read and, with your approval, update them. HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Attio, Apollo, Clay, Slack, Granola, Notion, Semrush, Ahrefs and Snitcher run hosted servers you connect in minutes. Google Ads and Google Analytics have official servers you run yourself. Meta Ads, Gong and Zapier are in beta. LinkedIn has no official server at all.

Access to the tool

The MCP server lets Claude read and write in that tool, as you.

RevOps

The CRM plus where your team works and your automations: enough for hygiene audits and hand-off checks.

CRM

Salesforce MCP

Official · hosted

Query records, run flows and Apex actions, under the connected user’s permissions.

Salesforce-hosted MCP servers reached general availability in April 2026 for Enterprise Edition and above.

P

Pipedrive MCP

Official · hosted

Search deals, people, organisations and leads; create and update records; manage activities.

Launched 30 June 2026. Respects user permissions and keeps an audit trail of actions.

A

Attio MCP

Official · hosted

Look up records, log notes and tasks, search the pipeline, review call recordings.

Hosted with OAuth; access follows each user’s Attio permissions.

Read and write

Prospecting data

A

Apollo MCP

Official · hosted

Search leads and companies, enrich with Apollo credits, create contacts, add or remove them from sequences.

In Claude’s connector directory since February 2026. Needs a paid Apollo plan; works inside a chat, not as a background job.

C

Clay MCP

Official · hosted

Search people and companies, enrich with Clay’s data providers, run your team’s Clay workflows.

Uses Clay credits at normal rates; results stop at 100 per query, so bulk work stays in Clay tables.

Email and messaging

Gmail MCP

Official · hosted

Search and read email, create drafts. Claude’s built-in Gmail connector and Google’s own Gmail MCP (developer preview) both stop short of sending on their own.

Drafts you review, then send yourself: the safe default for any outreach.

Read, drafts only

Slack MCP

Official · hosted

Search messages and threads, find workspace context, post messages.

Slack’s official server connects through your workspace login; your Slack admin may need to approve it.

I

Instantly MCP

Official · hosted

Work with campaigns, leads and analytics in your Instantly account.

Remote server with an API key from Instantly’s integrations settings. Keep sending decisions with a person.

L

lemlist MCP

Official · hosted

Work with campaigns, leads and sequences in lemlist.

Reported as a hosted server with OAuth or an API key; confirm the endpoint in lemlist’s own docs before connecting.

Read and write

Calls and meetings

G

Gong MCP

Official · beta

Ask questions about accounts and deals and get AI-generated briefs from your call data.

Gong’s help centre described the client and server rollout from June 2026. Returns summaries, not raw transcripts.

F

Fireflies MCP

Official · hosted

Search past conversations, pull transcripts and summaries.

Remote server with OAuth, launched in beta in 2025.

Read only

Ads and analytics

Meta Ads MCP

Official · beta

Run Marketing API operations on your ad accounts: reporting, and campaign changes you approve.

Meta launched its official Ads MCP in open beta on 29 April 2026, with Meta Business sign-in instead of a developer app.

LinkedIn MCP

No official server

LinkedIn publishes no MCP server. Community servers exist; many work by scraping a logged-in browser session.

Scraping can break LinkedIn’s terms and put your account at risk. Use the official LinkedIn API instead: our playbook shows how, with posting approved in Slack.

Depends on setup

Google Analytics MCP

Official · run it yourself

Run GA4 reports, real-time reports and funnel reports, list accounts and properties.

Google’s official server is experimental and runs locally, with the analytics.readonly scope.

SEO and website intent

A

Ahrefs MCP

Official · hosted

Keyword, backlink and site data from Ahrefs.

Hosted and read-only, for Lite plans and higher. The old local package is no longer maintained.

Read only
S

Snitcher MCP

Official · hosted

Ask which companies matching your ideal customer visited this week and what they read; push them to your CRM.

Launched September 2026. Asks for approval before changes, shows credit costs first and offers a dry run: a good standard to copy.

Automation and workspace

Zapier MCP

Official · beta

Run actions in thousands of apps through Zapier, from one connection.

You choose which actions Claude may use; calls count against your Zapier task quota.

n8n MCP

Official · hosted

Search and run the workflows you expose; recent versions can also create and edit workflows.

Built into n8n as instance-level MCP access; an owner or admin enables it and picks the workflows.

Notion MCP

Official · hosted

Search, read and update the pages and databases you share.

Hosted at mcp.notion.com with OAuth; you pick which pages Claude can see.

Safe by default

  • Read first. Start every new connection read-only, and turn on writes only for jobs that need them.
  • Approve every write. Updates to the CRM, emails and ad changes go through a person.
  • Official over community. Prefer the vendor’s server. Be wary of community servers that ask for your password, cookies or a browser session.
  • Least access. Share only the pages, folders or objects the job needs.
  • Watch for hidden instructions. Web pages, emails and documents can contain text that tries to steer the assistant. Treat what tools return as data, not orders.
  • Know the costs. Some servers spend credits (Apollo, Clay) or tasks (Zapier) on every call.

Questions people ask

What is an MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant such as Claude use another tool: read your CRM, search your email, run a report. An MCP server is the piece a tool provides so assistants can connect to it. In the Claude app many of these appear as connectors.

What is the difference between an MCP server and a Claude skill?

An MCP server gives Claude access to a tool. A skill tells Claude how to do a job well with that access: which method, which questions, which fields, and when to ask for approval. Most good setups use both: connectors for data, skills for the method.

Is there an official HubSpot MCP server?

Yes. HubSpot runs a remote MCP server that reached general availability in April 2026. It reads and updates CRM records such as contacts, companies and deals, and Claude can connect to it as a connector.

Is there an official LinkedIn MCP server?

No. LinkedIn does not publish one. Community servers exist, but many scrape a logged-in browser session, which can break LinkedIn’s terms. The safer route is the official LinkedIn API, which our LinkedIn playbook sets up step by step.

Are MCP servers safe to connect to my CRM?

They act with your permissions, so treat them like a new colleague: start read-only, approve every write, give access only to what the job needs, and prefer official servers over community ones that ask for passwords or browser sessions.
