First call prep turns a name, a link or a calendar invite into a one-screen brief before your discovery call: who the person is, what changed at their company, what they said publicly in the last 60 days, your history with them, and the questions worth asking.

What you get
- Confirmed person and company, and who owns the record
- Dated company moves and pressures
- Their public posts and comments in 60 days
- Your history: replies and meetings, never opens
- Your methodology (MEDDPICC, SPICED, BANT…) with what is known and the question for each gap
What it asks you
Only what your website, CRM and company context cannot answer.
- Who is the meeting with? (only if not clear)
The method
Questions about the past, the forces and the deadline
Good discovery asks what happened last time (The Mom Test), covers what pushes and what holds the buyer back (forces of progress), and finds the date that matters to them (SPICED). The brief prepares exactly those questions.
